Planned and leadership giving
At the Canadian Cancer Society, our vision is to champion world leading outcomes in cancer prevention, treatment and support.@(headingTag)>
We are a national, community-based organization of staff and volunteers whose mission is the eradication of cancer and the enhancement of the quality of life of people living with cancer.
We set ourselves apart from other cancer charities by taking a comprehensive approach against cancer. We are also the only national charity that supports all Canadians living with cancers across the country.
When you support the Canadian Cancer Society (CCS), you’re doing more than simply making a donation. You’re helping the nearly half of Canadians who are expected to hear the words “you have cancer”in their lifetime.
Your donation will be put to work immediately — we need your help to change the future of cancer forever.
Please read on as you consider ways to give.

Donor advised funds
By supporting the Canadian Cancer Society through your donor advised fund, you can recommend a grant now or name the Society as a successor beneficiary. The charitable tax receipt is issued by your fund sponsor; the Canadian Cancer Society gratefully stewards donors who recommend grants. We would love to connect to provide suggested wording or to liaise with your fund administrator.
For additional information on how to make a gift via your Donor Advised Fund, please contact Yovanka Contreras, Senior Manager, Leadership Giving (Foundations and Grants), at yovanka.contreras@cancer.ca or by phone at 778-863-0147
