Look Good Feel Better

Many women with cancer are told that the emotional rollercoaster of losing your hair, eyelashes, eyebrows and having sallow or excruciatingly dry skin is normal, but there’s nothing normal about this.

Cancer can rob a woman of her sense of self, both as a human being and, more specifically, as a woman.

Look Good Feel Better is Canada’s only charity dedicated to helping women and teens manage these appearance-related effects of cancer and its treatment.

Its complimentary workshops, in more than 100 cancer centres across Canada, give women and teens with cancer the tools and techniques to feel beautiful and vital. In so doing, it helps restore this sense of self, so you can feel like yourself again.
