CCS adapting to COVID-19 realities to support Canadians during and after the pandemic
Corporate partners in Prince Edward Island
Our corporate partners help us fund lifesaving cancer research, provide information services and support programs and advocate for public policies that prevent cancer and help those living with it.
We thank the following corporate partners who recognize that cancer is truly everyone’s business.
Since 2001, Sobeys has demonstrated their commitment to the breast cancer cause. Starting as a regional Awareness Day sponsor, their support has grown to much greater than a sponsorship commitment.
In 2009 and 2010, Sobeys was a Lead Partner on the Atlantic Tour for the Cure, a campaign to increase awareness across the region for the early detection of breast cancer. An initiative that their employees embraced and which jump-started their Regional Sponsorship of the CIBC Run for the Cure.
Sobeys’ long-standing partnership has also included a very successful annual floral campaign in October, as well as the pink watermelon campaign.
Thank you to Sobeys and their employees for their long-standing generosity and belief in our work.
Imagine the coordination involved in printing team names on the back of 8,000 tshirts for 9 Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure sites across Atlantic Canada – and doing so within just 10 days.
Valley Graphics has been doing this for us – free of charge for all of our sites – since 2005 when they became a regional sponsor; however, they first became involved in 1999 as a local sponsor in Fredericton.
Valley Graphics has grown to be a strong supporter of CCS, not only through the CIBC Run for the Cure, but year-round. We are very grateful for their continued support.
Since first launching in Saint John, New Brunswick in 2010, BIG PINK SIGHTSEEING has taken the Maritimes by storm. Over the years, their Hope-On-Hop-Off tours have expanded to Charlottetown, Prince Edwards Island as well as Halifax and Sydney, Nova Scotia
We are grateful to Ambassatours for the outstanding awareness and funds they have raised both for the breast cancer cause and the Canadian Cancer Society.
