Do more, a kilometre at a time

Whether you walk 5, 10, 15 or 20 km, it’s a step closer to good habits. When you adopt them on a daily basis, they can reduce your cancer risk. Here are a five tips to help you reach your goal:

  • Spring is arriving slowly but surely: use the opportunity to get out. Walk outdoors with your coworkers during lunchtime or go out for a stroll every evening with your family.
  • Increase your chances of success by choosing comfortable walking shoes and clothes that breathe.
  • Drink water regularly and consider eating healthy snacks to keep your energy up.
  • Keep count by noting down the number of kilometres covered during your outings and try to do a bit more each time.
  • Don’t forget to tell your loved ones about your goal and ask them to make an additional donation if you meet your challenge. This will keep you motivated to not give up.
