In communities across PEI, the Canadian Cancer Society is taking up the fight against cancer. The mission of the Society is the eradication of cancer and the improvement in the quality of life of people living with cancer.
The Board of Directors of the Canadian Cancer Society, PEI, is currently accepting applications from individuals interested in serving on the Board. We are looking for people from a diversity of backgrounds with the vision, passion and commitment to make a difference. Responsibilities include: 

 Participate in developing the Society’s multi – year strategic plan and annual business plan by identifying community needs, deciding on local priorities and aligning       the mission work overall for the province.
 Set and achieve targets for major gifts, planned giving and annual fundraising programs.
 Support delivery of the mission through participation in the Society’s community engagement plans.
 Work to ensure that government policies support and protect the health of Islanders

Appointments are for a three year term.
