Results of the June 2016 Prevention Research Grants competition
We are pleased to announce the results of the most recent Prevention Research Grants competition to support and accelerate research and the application of new knowledge relevant to cancer prevention. Below is a listing of newly awarded Canadian Cancer Society (CCS) Prevention Research Grants.
2 Canadian Cancer Society Prevention Research Grants have been approved – 11% of all full proposals received. 47 Letters of Intent were submitted to the competition, and following a scientific review 19 of these were invited to submit full applications, and 19 were received. These 2 new grants represent an investment of more than $850,000.
We are also very pleased that all awards are being funded to their full panel recommended amounts and that no administrative decrements are being applied.
