CCS adapting to COVID-19 realities to support Canadians during and after the pandemic
Every April, during Daffodil Month, thousands of Canadian Cancer Society volunteers fan out across Manitoba to engage their neighbours in the fight against cancer.
The money raised through this community-based, door-to-door campaign helps us fund life-saving research and provide vital support services for people with cancer and their families. If a volunteer knocks on your door this April, please give generously.
The Society thanks our 4,000+ dedicated volunteers in Manitoba for their gift of time. Whether you’re on your first campaign or you’re a 40-year veteran of door-to-door, we thank you for your commitment to making a difference. If you’re interested in joining our team, we are still in need of volunteers to help make this year’s campaign a success.
For more information about the door-to-door campaign or to get involved in your Manitoba community, contact Jana at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 204-789-0881 or 1-888-532-6982 ext. 244.
Extend your reach by canvassing online
Instead of going door to door, help us raise funds through your online community. It's quick and easy, and we have tools to help you become an online canvasser!
Create a personalized fundraising page and tell a story. Send emails to your family, friends, co-workers, teammates, clubs and other people on your contact list. Extend your reach and have a real impact. Your donors have a safe and convenient way to give, and they receive their tax receipts within minutes of the transaction.
As an online canvasser, you’re showing people living with cancer that they are not alone on their journey.
