Become a volunteer

At the Canadian Cancer Society, we strive to create a culture of volunteer engagement where volunteers find meaningful ways to support Canadians living with cancer.

To volunteer in your community, apply online or print and complete our volunteer application form.

Return the form to your nearest local Society office. We will review your application and contact you to discuss current opportunities.

Join a planning committee

If you are organized and enjoy working as part of a team, help organize a Society fundraising event. Your commitment may last several weeks or months, and your time may vary from a couple of hours each month to several hours leading up to an event. Getting involved as an event leadership volunteer is a great way for you to have fun, build community spirit and raise money to fight cancer!
