Become a corporate supporter

We are pleased to introduce our corporate donors to 360 degrees of giving. Your company can make a difference and help nearly 1 in 2 Canadians impacted by cancer in communities across Canada.

Partnering for impact – 360 degrees of giving

The Canadian Cancer Society and your corporate family have the potential to form a strong partnership, and together make a significant impact on thousands who live with cancer. Here is how we will do it:

  • creation of a fund in your company name, held at the Canadian Cancer Society
  • monthly employee giving
  • employer supported volunteering
  • corporate giving/matching gifts
  • sponsorship of a local Canadian Cancer Society event or program
  • 3rd party event held in support of the Canadian Cancer Society
  • Create a fund

At your request, we will be proud to create a fund in your name where all proceeds from every initiative that you undertake to the benefit of the Canadian Cancer Society will be deposited.

    • At the end of each year, we will provide you with a list of research projects that need funding and local programs and services that will benefit greatly from your generous support.
    • You then decide where your charitable dollars will have the greatest impact.
    • We will provide you with a completed report on what your funds accomplished.
    • If you have funded a research project, we can arrange for a researcher to make a presentation to your staff, explaining what they were able to achieve through your corporate support.
    • We can also offer talks on broader subjects like cancer prevention, smoking cessation programs or cancer care.

We can do all of that!

  • Engage employees with a monthly giving program
    • This program gives your company an opportunity to build employee engagement while having a direct impact on people living in your community.
    • We know that companies offering their workforce a focused charitable opportunity generally experience a significant rise in the level of employee engagement.
    • Your full- and part-time employees can become monthly donors to the Canadian Cancer Society.
    • For gifts as modest as $10 per month, your employees can make a measurable difference in the lives of those for whom cancer is a daily reality.
  • Employer supported volunteering

Supporting your employees in volunteering can benefit your company by:

    • strengthening your community profile
    • creating an emotional connection with your employees
    • promoting team building
    • boosting employee morale
    • renewing your employees’ sense of social commitment and increasing their job satisfaction by helping us fulfill our mission.

We are the first place Canadians go to on their cancer journey for the information, support and resources they need. Contact us today to discover how we can work together to make a difference in the lives of Canadians.
