Incidence and mortality
Incidence is the total number of new cases of cancer. Mortality is the number of deaths due to cancer.
The most recent incidence statistics for endocrine system cancers in children aged 0 to 14 years are from 2012 to 2016:
- Approximately 160 Canadian children were diagnosed with endocrine system cancers.
The most recent mortality statistics for endocrine system cancers in children age 0 to 14 years are from 2013 to 2017:
- Approximately 57 Canadian children died from endocrine system cancers.
