Mary Burleigh Stewart Cancer Research Scholarship
The Mary Burleigh Stewart Cancer Research Scholarship was established by Canadian Cancer Society donors Catherine Stewart and Brian Banks, who contributed $100,000 to support young cancer researchers. The scholarship was created in honour of Catherine’s mother, who passed away due to breast cancer in 1997.
Squires Student Fund
George and Marlene Squires, long-time Alberta supporters of the Canadian Cancer Society, contributed $50,000 to establish a scholarship fund that specifically supports summer students who are learning the ropes of fighting cancer.
