CCS adapting to COVID-19 realities to support Canadians during and after the pandemic
Gail Rudderham Chernin
Volunteer work is, and always has been, a significant part of Gail’s life. She has served as Chair of the Cape Breton United Way and Chair of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation (CBCF) both nationally and regionally. Now, Gail is a director on the Canadian Cancer Society Board of Directors. Outside of her volunteer work, Gail has worked with clients on a host of legal issues with an emphasis on claims against insurance companies for more than 30 years. Gail served as President of the Nova Scotia Barrister’s Society (NSBS) from 2003 to 2004. At present, Gail serves as Vice-Chair of the Disciplinary Hearing Committee of the Professional Responsibility Department of the NSBS.
