CCS adapting to COVID-19 realities to support Canadians during and after the pandemic
The Canadian Cancer Society is pleased work with Jamieson in support of a national sun safety campaign. The sun safety campaign aims to educate consumers about how to reduce their risk of skin cancer by:
- Checking the UV index daily, and be extra careful when the UV Index is 3 or higher
- Seeking shade and covering up with clothing in the sun Covering up with clothing, a hat and UV protected sunglasses
- Wearing sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher
- Not using tanning beds
- Use sources of vitamin D that are safer than UV rays, such as your diet or supplements
