Canadian Cancer Society’s Daffodil Daily Lottery puts $1 million into the pockets of four lucky people!

Toronto, Ontario -

The Canadian Cancer Society in Ontario is pleased to announce the three grand prize winners of its Daffodil Daily Lottery. The Society has the only charitable lottery in the province which offers three super grand prizes of $1 million dollars cash along with a new 50/50 raffle component benefitting the charity’s Wheels of Hope transportation program which helped 13,800 Ontario patients get to cancer treatment last year.

The lucky new millionaires are:
  • Leo Innocente of Windsor
  • Lorraine Boswell of Bobcaygeon
  • Agnes Kohaz of Toronto 
Arthur and Wilhellmina Atkinson of Bowmanville also took home a cool $1,034,290 as winners of the Wheels of Hope 50/50 Raffle.

“Congratulations to everyone who won a prize this year and thank you to all who purchased a ticket,” said the Society’s lottery manager, Janice Gray. “Our lottery supports promising research into more than 200 types of cancer and proceeds from this year’s 50/50 draw will help patients get to cancer treatment.
