5th World Conference on Breast Cancer

Heart, Soul & Science: It’s a Small World After All
Winnipeg, Manitoba
June 4 to 8, 2008
The Canadian Cancer Society in Saskatchewan is a proud sponsor of the 5th World Conference on Breast Cancer, a conference dedicated to global action on breast cancer by creating a safe environment where women and men of the world can share their breast cancer experiences, be understood, cared for, and supported.
The conference serves women and men with breast cancer, along with the friends, family, and the community networks that support them. Delegates benefit from interactive workshops, conference speakers, and poster presentations. The conference provides the opportunity to participate and learn about aspects of breast cancer research, diagnosis, treatment, support, prevention, outreach and education. It builds and strengthens international networks concerned with breast cancer, and advances global and local action related to breast cancer. More information about the conference is available at the World Breast Cancer Conference web site.
Conference registration and travel grants for Saskatchewan residents
The Canadian Cancer Society in Saskatchewan is making a number of registration and travel grants available for Saskatchewan residents interested in attending this conference. For those selected, the Society will cover the registration fee and provide a $300 travel grant.
