Ottawa Advisory Board
The Ottawa Advisory Board is a council of volunteer community leaders who provide strategic and tactical guidance to the Canadian Cancer Society. Our leadership efforts concentrate on programs and fundraising initiatives within Ottawa and the surrounding communities. Depending on the nature of the initiative, the scope of our efforts and guidance include local, provincial and national offices within the Society.
Most importantly, Ottawa Advisory Board members serve as volunteer ambassadors of the Society within the Ottawa area. We facilitate liaisons with cancer and health organizations, business leaders, politicians and senior government officials. Our mandate also includes assisting in engaging volunteers, securing sponsorships, securing partnerships and advancing relations with business and government entities, as well as representing the Canadian Cancer Society at community events.
Meet our Advisory Board Members.
For more information or to contact a member email us at ccsottawaadvisoryboard@gmail.com or leave a message with the receptionist at the Ottawa Unit Office at (613) 723-1744 ext. 3610.
