Eat Well, Be Active

The challenge for healthy living is on!

 

New Brunswick residents looking to lead a healthier lifestyle can do so through the Canadian Cancer Society's Eat Well, Be Active program.

 

This 10-week program, facilitated by Registered Dietitians in communities around New Brunswick, will show participants how to adopt healthier eating habits and become more physically active.

 

You will learn about: 

  • Nutrition 101 - the basics
  • Label reading
  • Portion sizes
  • Healthy snacking
  • Nutrition myths
  • Healthy eating on a budget 
  • Healthy restaurant eating
  • Why fad diets don't work 
  • Making active living part of your lifestyle
  • Superfoods and antioxidants
