Eat Well, Be Active
The challenge for healthy living is on!
New Brunswick residents looking to lead a healthier lifestyle can do so through the Canadian Cancer Society's Eat Well, Be Active program.
This 10-week program, facilitated by Registered Dietitians in communities around New Brunswick, will show participants how to adopt healthier eating habits and become more physically active.
You will learn about:
- Nutrition 101 - the basics
- Label reading
- Portion sizes
- Healthy snacking
- Nutrition myths
- Healthy eating on a budget
- Healthy restaurant eating
- Why fad diets don't work
- Making active living part of your lifestyle
- Superfoods and antioxidants
