Becoming a volunteer

We’re always looking for volunteers to roll out the Trottibus Walking School Bus across the province and support schools in the implementation of their project. Depending on your strengths and interests, several opportunities for volunteering are available to you:

  • Walk 1 to 5 mornings per week
  • Become a member of an organizing committee
  • Promote the project at different events or activities
  • Promote the project in elementary schools in Quebec

Bring out your full potential through our skill-based volunteering (Bac) program! The BaC program offers unique and flexible volunteering opportunities that can go all the way up to involvement at the strategic level.

Involving seniors

The CCS encourages schools to develop intergenerational social contacts by recruiting retired volunteers from their community to become “Drivers” of the Trottibus Walking School Bus. This involvement gives busy parents who often do not have the time a much-needed helping hand.
