Drive people

As a volunteer driver, you will pick up people receiving cancer treatment from their home and take them to their treatment centre. You’ll be there to offer assistance at a time when they need it the most. And when their treatment is done, you’ll make sure they get home safely. With the kindness and support of volunteer drivers, people with cancer can focus on getting through their treatment.

Both Canadian Cancer Society and Freemasons volunteers provide a transportation service in BC in Vancouver, Fraser Valley, Kelowna and on Vancouver Island. A new service will also be operating in Prince George in 2013 following the opening of the new lodge. Positions are available in leadership, dispatch and driving.

Check out volunteer opportunities for the transportation program on the Online Volunteer Centre.
