About The Lodge That Gives

The Dr. Susan K Roberts Lodge That Gives is a 62-bed facility operated by the Canadian Cancer Society, Nova Scotia Division, for people with cancer and their caregivers who must travel to Halifax for cancer treatments.

The Society is committed to easing the financial and emotional burden of a cancer diagnosis through support services such as The Lodge That Gives. The Lodge offers more than just a place to sleep, an in-house chef prepares three healthy meals a day. The large dining room and lounges create a supportive community atmosphere and the Steve and Kathy Smith Programming and Wellness Area provides areas for relaxation, meditation, creation, and exercise.
