A metastatic diagnosis – the spread of cancer to other parts of the body – can evoke complex and difficult emotions for patients and their loved ones because it means the cancer is unlikely to be cured. In most cases, the goal of treatment for this stage of the disease is to prolong patient survival and maintain their quality of life.

Metastatic patients and their families have a challenging path that is unique from other cancer journeys. By donating to the Metastatic Cancer Futures Fund, you will help fund critical research to better understand why cancer metastasizes, improvements in treatments and exploration into their associated side effects. In addition, your gift will help connect people living with metastatic cancer to strengthen and widen their community, and provide the information and support they need to find hope and live life to the fullest.

As a Metastatic Cancer Futures Fund supporter, you will receive:

  • Semi-annual progress reports containing updates on how your contributions are making a difference in research and patient support.
  • A tax receipt.
  • A bi-monthly e-newsletter featuring the latest news, exclusive invitations and other ways to get involved with the organization.
