At the Canadian Cancer Society, our vision is to champion world leading outcomes in cancer prevention, treatment and support.

We are a national, community-based organization of staff and volunteers whose mission is the eradication of cancer and the enhancement of the quality of life of people living with cancer.

We set ourselves apart from other cancer charities by taking a comprehensive approach against cancer. We are also the only national charity that supports all Canadians living with cancers across the country.

When you support the Canadian Cancer Society (CCS), you’re doing more than simply making a donation. You’re helping the nearly half of Canadians who are expected to hear the words “you have cancer”in their lifetime.

Gifts of securities

By supporting the Canadian Cancer Society with a gift of securities, you eliminate the capital gains tax that you would have paid if you sold the securities and donated the proceeds. Securities can include stocks, mutual funds, and employee stock options.
