Residential Campaign

Give generously when your neighbourhood volunteer knocks on your door this April.

Each year throughout April, Canadian Cancer Society volunteers organize and implement a country-wide month long door to door campaign to raise funds – and awareness – to fight cancer.

The Residential Campaign is one of the Canadian Cancer Society’s longest-running fundraising events, involving hundreds of volunteers right across Prince Edward Island. From Souris to North Cape and all points in between, neighborhood volunteers knock on as many doors as they can to raise money in support of our vision - working together to overcome cancer and create healthier lives for all Islanders.

Donations to the Residential Campaign allow us to take up the fight against all types of cancers on five critical fronts:

• prevention
• advocating for healthy public policy
• crucial research
• providing information and
• support services for those living with cancer

Canvassing in local neighborhoods also helps the Canadian Cancer Society enhance our presence in the community by providing you with information about our programs and services. Please consider becoming a residential canvass volunteer.

For more information on how you can become involved, please call 1 866 566-4007.

Last year, we only had the resources available to fund 40% of high-priority research projects. Imagine the impact we could have if we were able to fund 100%.
