Funds raised at our holiday events will allow the Canadian Cancer Society to fund ground-breaking cancer research, vital educational, advocacy projects and local support programs such as Daffodil Place.
Eastern Region - Festival of Trees and Holiday Gifts
The 17th Annual Festival of Trees & Holiday Gifts, hosted by Seamus O’Regan, was held on Thursday, November 29, 2012 at the St. John’s Delta Hotel. The event was sold out with over 400 people in attendance. With 130 silent auction items, 8 live auction items, fabulous entertainment, and great food, over $170,000 was raised for the NL Division of the Canadian Cancer Society. The Canadian Cancer Society and Festival of Trees Committee would like to send a sincere thank you to all those who participated, volunteered, and generously sponsored and donated to this year’s event.

Happy Valley-Goose Bay - Christmas Soiree
The 12th Annual Christmas Soiree was held on Saturday, November 17, 2012 at the Royal Canadian Legion in Happy Valley-Goose Bay. The event was sold out with over 250 guests in attendance and contributed to raising over $40,000.
