Daffodil Month

Wear a daffodil pin and show your support for people living with cancer.

Every 3 minutes another Canadian is faced with fighting cancer. Throughout April, volunteers across Canada will be working together to raise funds for the Canadian Cancer Society.

There are many ways to join the fight against cancer this April:

  • Wear a daffodil pin for a donation.
  • Make a donation when a volunteer knocks on your door.
  • Volunteer as little as 3 hours of your time.
  • Spread the word.

Show support and make a difference in your own way – no matter how big or small.

Visit fightback.ca to find out where to get your daffodil pin and for information about Daffodil Month activities in communities throughout Canada.

Daffodil Days flower sales

Daffodils are a beautiful symbol of hope and renewal, and a fundraising tradition for the Canadian Cancer Society that is more than 50 years old in Canada.

Daffodil Days will take place the week of March 18, 2013. Volunteers will be selling the bright yellow flowers for $8 a bunch in communities throughout New Brunswick.

Daffodil Days leads into Daffodil Month in April – when you can further show your support for the fight against cancer by wearing our daffodil pin throughout the month, or by making a donation when a volunteer knocks on your door.

Money raised through Daffodil Days funds the most promising cancer research, supportive care to help people living with cancer, comprehensive cancer information, prevention initiatives, and advocacy for healthy public policy.
