Non-melanoma skin cancer statistics
Non-melanoma skin cancer is the most common cancer diagnosed in Canadians. But specific cancer statistics for non-melanoma skin cancer are not reported.
Most cancer registries in Canada do not collect information about non-melanoma skin cancers. These cancers are difficult to keep track of. The information often doesn’t get reported because non-melanoma skin cancer is usually diagnosed and treated easily in a doctor’s office.
My favourite thing about Camp Goodtime is being able to hang out with other kids who have survived cancer. They know what is going on in your life and can help you get through it.
Facing the financial burden of cancer
The Canadian Cancer Society provides helpful information about government income programs, financial resources and other resources available to families struggling to make sense of the personal financial burden they face.
