Incidence and mortality

Incidence is the total number of new cases of cancer. Mortality is the number of deaths due to cancer.

The most recent incidence statistics for soft tissue sarcoma in children aged 0–14 years are from 2006 to 2010.

  • 295 Canadian children were diagnosed with soft tissue sarcoma.

The most recent mortality statistics for soft tissue sarcoma in children aged 0–14 years are from 2008 to 2012.

  • 43 Canadian children died from soft tissue sarcoma.
