Risk reduction strategies for leukemia

There are no specific ways to reduce the risk of leukemia. It is important for anyone who has symptoms to see their doctor as soon as possible.

See a doctor if you have the following symptoms:

  • fatigue
  • malaise (a general feeling of discomfort or illness)
  • loss of appetite
  • weight loss
  • bleeding or bruising
  • frequent infections
