There are no specific ways to reduce the risk of leukemia. It is important for anyone who has symptoms to see their doctor as soon as possible.

See a doctor if you have the following symptoms:

  • fatigue
  • malaise (a general feeling of discomfort or illness)
  • loss of appetite
  • weight loss
  • bleeding or bruising
  • frequent infections
