Stages of childhood leukemia

Staging is a way of describing or classifying a cancer based on the extent, or amount, of cancer in the body. Cancers that form solid tumours are normally given numbered stages based on the size of the tumour and whether the cancer has spread (metastasized) to another part of the body. Childhood leukemia doesn’t form solid tumours. So there is no standard staging system for childhood leukemia.
