Hodgkin lymphoma statistics

To provide the most current cancer statistics, statistical methods are used to estimate the number of new cancer cases and deaths until actual data become available.

Incidence and mortality

Incidence is the total number of new cases of cancer. Mortality is the number of deaths due to cancer.

In 2017, an estimated:

  • 990 Canadians were diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma.
  • 140 Canadians died from Hodgkin lymphoma.
  • 570 men were diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma and 85 died from it.
  • 430 women were diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma and 60 died from it.
