If your child has cancer

Having a child with cancer is one of the biggest challenges you will ever have to face as a parent. Along with having to manage your own feelings, you probably have countless questions to ask and many decisions to make. It’s common for both the parents and their child to feel that life has spun out of control.

Gathering information and talking about cancer won’t make cancer go away, but it can help you and your family feel more in control and more involved. Knowing what to expect can help put things in perspective and help you make the best decisions for your child.
