Patricia North is a health sector lawyer and Chief Legal Officer for Women’s College Hospital in Toronto. She has practiced law both in Canada and in Europe and her expertise includes extensive knowledge of the healthcare sector, corporate governance, risk management and providing thought leadership on the impacts of emerging policy matters. A strategic and forward-thinking leader, Patricia understands the opportunity innovation and technology present for the health sector, and has significant experience structuring deals to bring research from lab bench to patient bedside. She holds a Master of Laws degree specializing in alternative dispute resolution. Patricia has been a board-level volunteer with CCS since 2010. As a cancer survivor, and a family member and friend to others who've experienced cancer, Patricia strongly supports the mission of CCS and the important role that it plays in supporting cancer patients and cancer research in Canada.
