Anne Vézina has 35 years of experience as an architect in the construction industry and as a senior executive in the not-for-profit sector. Before founding her consulting practice, Ms Vézina held several nationwide leadership positions at the Canadian Cancer Society over a period of 13 years, in strategy performance, corporate affairs and operations. Ms Vézina also served as the interim president and CEO. Through her experience in the not-for-profit sector as an executive, board member and volunteer, Ms Vézina developed a commitment to governance excellence and accountability. Ms Vézina holds an MBA from the Schulich School of Management and is a graduate of the ICD-Rotman Directors Education Program.
I was in total shock when I heard the diagnosis of cancer. Cancer to me was an adult’s disease. Being a 13-year-old teenager, it certainly wasn’t even on my radar.
