Cancer - A Collaborative Approach

Naturopathic Doctor Kali Simmonds presents  “Cancer - a Collaborative Approach”, an informative discussion on cancer prevention, diagnosis, and the complementary role naturopathic medicine can play in cancer treatment.

The event will take place Tuesday, October 28th, 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at The Guild in Charlottetown.

Dr. Simmonds has been in practice for 15 years and has much knowledge to share from her clinical experience, interviews with health professionals as cohost of 'Au Natural' on Eastlink TV, and her interaction with medical specialists who deal with cancer daily.

Discussion will focus on prevention tips, promising cancer therapies, naturopathic treatments that can be safely used with chemotherapy and radiation and after cancer treatment to help prevent recurrence. Dr. Simmonds will share her personal experience of her mother's fatal journey with breast cancer.

Science is continually evolving and the more we understand, the more informed our decisions can be. There will be a question and answer session.

Katie McGarry will provide musical entertainment and refreshments will be served. Tickets are available for $20 at The Root Cellar, 34 Queen Street, Charlottetown, with 100% of proceeds going to the Canadian Cancer Society, PEI Division.
