October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month

With the support of our generous corporate partners, the Canadian Cancer Society is leading the fight against breast cancer. This October, we will raise funds and awareness in partnership with great organizations across Canada. Supporting the companies that support the Canadian Cancer Society through your purchases is another way you can fight back against breast cancer.

Alphabet Photography

Founded by renowned artist Jennifer Blakeley, Alphabet Photography makes inspirational alphabet photo art. In honour of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Alphabet Photography will support the Canadian Cancer Society through the sale of five limited edition inspirational frames designed especially for the Society. Backstage Commerce (Hair Treats)

Launched in 2010, Hair Treats began with its unique, professional line of double loop technology hair extensions and continues to bring the latest innovations in products to the professional hair beauty market. Best Made Toys

Best Made Toys will once again execute a campaign in Walmart stores to mark Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Throughout October, Best Made Toys will contribute $1 from the sale of each specially made stuffed toy bear to the Canadian Cancer Society in support of breast cancer research. Cascade Cart Solutions

Kick it to the curb! Cascade Cart Solutions, a division of Cascade Engineering, was established in 1989 to supply residential and commercial containers to the solid waste and recycling industry. For each pink rollout waste receptacle cart sold in Canada, Cascade Cart will donate $5 to the Canadian Cancer Society to support the fight against breast cancer. Energizer

In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Energizer will make a guaranteed contribution of $15,000 to the Canadian Cancer Society on behalf of specially marked products, including Energizer Max AAA8 and AA12 batteries in support of breast cancer research. Golf Canada

The Canadian Cancer Society is honoured to be the charity of choice for Golf Canada’s Golf Fore the Cure – the signature charity event of their women’s division. Since 2006, Golf Fore the Cure has raised over $3 million in support of the fight against breast cancer. HP Everyday Papers

HP Everyday Papers, produced and distributed by International Paper, will donate 20% of the profits from the sale of specially marked packages of HP Multipurpose Paper to the Canadian Cancer Society in support of breast cancer research and awareness. These packages are available at retail stores in Canada at Staples and Walmart. The specially marked packages are also available online at staples.ca and walmartcanada.ca.

Jacob

Jacob will be supporting the Canadian Cancer Society for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. For every Joie de vivre perfume sold, Jacob will donate $1 to the Society in support of breast cancer research, information and support services. Jacob will also ask customers who visit their stores throughout the month of October to donate $1 to further support the campaign. Visit jacob.ca.

Laura Canada fashion

Laura Canada is a long-standing, proud supporter of the Canadian Cancer Society in the fight against breast cancer. Since 1998, Laura Canada, with the support of its Laura, Laura Petites, Laura Plus, Laura Superstore and Melanie Lyne customers, has raised more than $2.1 million for breast cancer research and support programs.

Laura Canada continues to raise funds year-round through their Laura Privilege Card (a customer loyalty program that offers a 10% discount on purchases). A portion of the proceeds from the sale or renewal of each card is donated to the Society. Throughout October, Laura will match donations dollar for dollar, up to a total of $15,000. The Pampered Chef

Each year, The Pampered Chef, a premier direct seller of high-quality kitchen tools, hosts their annual Help Whip Cancer campaign in support of breast cancer education and breast cancer research. Throughout October, Pampered Chef consultants and customers can host Help Whip Cancer Fundraiser Cooking Shows, and up to 25% of sales will be donated to the fight against breast cancer. Walmart Canada helps shoppers make a difference

Walmart Canada vendors will once again join the Canadian Cancer Society by raising funds and awareness in support of the fight against breast cancer in October. Walmart has invited its vendors, such as Morsam Fashions and Best Made Toys, to support the Society with a contribution toward breast cancer research.
