This October, we will raise funds and awareness for the fight against breast cancer in partnership with great organizations across Canada. BIC Canada supports breast cancer research

From August 1 through to December 31, 2011, BIC Inc. will once again feature a promotion tied to the sale of pink Luminère candle lighters at participating retailers across the country. Best Made Toys Charity Bear available at Walmart

Best Made Toys will once again execute a campaign in Walmart stores to mark Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Throughout October 2011, Best Made Toys will contribute $1.00 from the sale of each specially made stuffed toy bear to the Canadian Cancer Society in support of breast cancer research. Cascade Cart wants to “kick cancer to the curb”!

Cascade Cart Solutions, a division of Cascade Engineering, was established in 1989 to supply residential and commercial containers to the solid waste and recycling industry. For 2011, Cascade Cart will donate $5.00 to the Canadian Cancer Society towards the fight against breast cancer for each 35, 64 and 96 gallon pink roll out waste receptacle cart sold in Canada. Get moving with Curves this Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Curves, the first fitness and weight loss facility dedicated to providing affordable, one-stop exercise and nutritional information for women, is again supporting the Canadian Cancer Society in the fight against breast cancer. Throughout October 2011, participating Curves locations will run fundraising activities and donation drives, encouraging their members to raise funds for breast cancer research. Fight breast cancer with Laura Canada fashion

Laura Canada is a longstanding proud supporter of the Canadian Cancer Society in the fight against breast cancer. Since 1998, Laura Canada, with the support of its Laura, Laura Petites, Laura Plus, Laura Superstore and Melanie Lyne customers, has raised almost $2 million for breast cancer research and support programs.

Throughout the month of October, Laura Canada will offer an exclusive charm bracelet for sale in all Laura, Laura Petites, Laura Plus and Laura Superstore stores. Five dollars from the sale of each bracelet will be donated to the Society in support of breast cancer research.

Laura Canada will also continue to raise funds year-round through their Laura Privilege Card (a customer loyalty program that offers a 10 percent discount on purchases). A portion of the proceeds from the sale or renewal of each card is donated to the Society in support of breast cancer research and support programs. Golf Canada encourages women to “Golf Fore the Cure”

The Canadian Cancer Society is honoured to be the charity of choice for the Golf Canada’s “Golf Fore the Cure” series of events – the signature charity event of their Women’s Division. Since 2006, “Golf Fore the Cure” has raised over $2.3 million in support of the fight against breast cancer. This year, women across the country are participating in more than 200 “Golf Fore the Cure” events, raising funds in support of breast cancer research and local support programs. The Pampered Chef invites you to “Help Whip Cancer”

Each year, The Pampered Chef, a premier direct seller of high-quality kitchen tools, hosts their annual “Help Whip Cancer” campaign, in support of the Society’s breast cancer education as well as life saving breast cancer research. Throughout October 2011, Pampered Chef consultants can host Help Whip Cancer Fundraiser Cooking Shows, donating up to 25 per cent of sales to the fight against breast cancer. Walmart Canada vendors will once again join the Canadian Cancer Society by raising funds and awareness in support of the fight against breast cancer in October. For the eighth year, Walmart has invited its vendors, such as Morsam Fashions, Strategic Partners, and Best Made Toys to support the Society with a contribution towards breast cancer research. Warnaco of Canada joins the fight against breast cancer

The Society is pleased to welcome our new partner in the fight against breast cancer, Warnaco of Canada. Warnaco will feature a campaign tied to the sales of Olga’s Signature Support® intimate apparel. For every Olga’s Signature Support® Suddenly Smooth Minimizer™ and Suddenly Smooth™ Sides sold throughout October, 2011, Warnaco of Canada will donate 10% of the retail price to breast cancer research.
