Toronto -
Like so many other Canadians, the volunteers and staff of the Canadian Cancer Society are saddened to hear that Mr. Layton is battling cancer again. His courage in fighting the disease, as well as his ongoing fight to improve healthcare for millions of Canadians, has been inspirational. We are grateful for his continued support to raise awareness and funds towards our mission to eradicate cancer and assist those living with the disease. We wish Mr. Layton a speedy recovery. Our thoughts are with him and his family.
