The Canadian Cancer Society is compliant with the Imagine Canada Ethical Fundraising and Financial Accountability Code – a set of standards for charitable organizations to manage and report their financial affairs responsibly and to comply with generally accepted practices for soliciting and managing donor dollars.

The Canadian Cancer Society is very aware of its ethical responsibility to spend donor dollars wisely. Strict accountability and transparency guide spending on the programs and services provided to the BC/Yukon community. The greater part of revenue is spent on cancer research, prevention and support programs.
