Upcoming events for 2019 in Waterloo Region and Wellington County -

    Daffodil Pin Sales - April 4 - 6, 2019

To some the daffodil is just a flower. To us it’s a symbol of hope. It says we will not give up. It says we will fight back against cancer and win. The Canadian Cancer Society has more impact, against more cancers, in more communities than any other cancer charity in Canada, yet there is still more we need to do.

Join us to sell daffodil pins in the community at local grocery stores and LCBO stores.

Hope And The City - May 16, 2019

Join the Canadian Cancer Society in Guelph for the 10th Annual Hope and the City, your quintessential "Girls Night Out." This exciting fundraiser, in support of women's cancers (breast/cervical/ovarian/uterine cancers), celebrates hope and the beauty of being a woman in a setting that makes every woman feel like a star!

Join members of the Guelph Police Services, the Guelph Fire Department and all our committed volunteers to have a fabulous time with your girlfriends while raising money for a very important cause.

    Relay For Life Waterloo Region - Shade's Mill Conservation Area - Friday, June 7, 2019 -  6pm to 12am

Relay For Life Wellington County - Guelph Lake Conservation Area - Friday, June 14, 2019 - 6pm to 12am

Relay For Life is a community fundraising event where Canadians across the country join together in the fight against cancer.

Picture yourself walking a track while hundreds of people – family, friends, co-workers and neighbours – cheer you on. The baton you hold in your hand is a powerful symbol of your personal commitment to make an impact in the fight against cancer. As you complete your lap and pass the baton to a teammate, you feel an overwhelming sense of pride in knowing you’re united with Canadians in communities across the country to create a world where no one fears cancer.

Wheels of Hope Golf Classic Tournament - July 2019

The Wheels of Hope Golf Classic is Guelph’s most acclaimed golf tournament. It is hosted each July at the prestigious & private Cutten Fields to raise funds for the Wheels of Hope program.  The program provides volunteer drivers who transport local cancer patients to and from their cancer specific-medical appointments at treatment centres. They offer friendly support and kindness at a time when patients need it most.

Cops for Cancer - Waterloo Region Safety Village - Saturday, September 21, 2019

First responders play a leadership role in organizing our Cops for Cancer events by involving the community in fundraising and cancer awareness activities. To raise funds in the fight against cancer, local event participants collect donations from their co-workers, friends, family and community members and participate in a public head shave held yearly.

    Mudmoiselle - September 2019

A Mudmoiselle faces every day with fierce optimism. She’s not afraid to get her hands dirty (scratch that, she’s not afraid to get anything dirty). And she believes that obstacles only make her stronger. But most importantly, a Mudmoiselle wants to drag cancer through the mud.

What's more impressive than you trudging through mud on your day off? Raising money for a great cause at the same time! You will help fund Canada's most promising cancer research and vital support services for cancer patients and their families.

    Mini Mudster - September 2019

Do your kids love to get muddy?  does your furniture get turned into obstacles to crawl through and climb over? Do you have a child between the ages of 5 and 12? If so, we can help! Sign up for our 1km Mini Mudster course (with smaller versions of the Mudmoiselle obstacles) and let us tire your kids out!

The CIBC Run for the Cure is a 5k or 1k walk or run that raises funds to create a future without breast cancer This inspirational fundraiser is the largest single-day volunteer-led event in Canada to support the breast cancer cause.
