Join the Fight. Plan an event!

Are you looking to jump into the world of fundraising and event planning? Gain valuable experience by executing a fundraising event for the Canadian Cancer Society!

From cook-offs to karaoke nights, dance-a-thons to dinner parties, any activity you already love doing can become a fundraiser.  Big or small, casual or formal, YOU decide what you want your event to look like.  From there, you will be put in contact with a Canadian Cancer Society staff member who will act as your guide, answer your questions, and arm you with fundraising tools and tips for a successful event.

Best of all, you can feel confident in knowing that every dollar you raise is helping us fund life-saving cancer research and valuable support services for Canadians living with cancer.

For many of us, a new year means new resolutions. If one of yours is to spend more time giving back, we offer plenty of opportunities for you to make an impact in the fight against cancer:

    • Create your own fundraiser
    • Volunteer at a Society event or create a team and sell daffodil pins in April
    • Join Cuts for Cancer by donating your hair to help make a wig for a cancer patient

When you help us raise funds and awareness, we can continue to run vital support programs and invest in innovative cancer research that is saving lives.

Start planning your fundraiser today! For information about volunteering, please visit the Volunteer Scheduler or contact Elizabeth at elizabeth.richards@ontario.cancer.ca or at 905-684-6455 ext 3153.
