Relay For Life - June 11, 2016 - Oakes Park, Niagara Falls
Relay For Life is a community fundraising event where Canadians across the country join together in the fight against cancer. In 2015, nearly 400 Relays took place across Canada.
Picture yourself walking a track while hundreds of people – family, friends, co-workers and neighbours – cheer you on. The baton you hold in your hand is a powerful symbol of your personal commitment to make an impact in the fight against cancer. As you complete your lap and pass the baton to a teammate, you feel an overwhelming sense of pride in knowing you’re united with Canadians in communities across the country to create a world where no one fears cancer. Grapes of Wrath, Niagara's Obstacle and Mud Run - Sat. June 25, 2016
The 5th Annual Grapes of Wrath event will be held at 13th St. Winery in St. Catharines on June 25, 2016. This event supports the Wheels of Hope transportation program that helps cancer patients get to their life-saving appointments. Grapes of Wrath isn't your average charity run - it's survival of the fittest at its best. There will be mud…there will be pain…and you'll NEVER be the same. Can you handle it?
