I am taking action to change the future of this disease for my friends, family and Canadians nationwide. I am raising awareness and funds for the fight against cancer. As a family doctor I tried to maintain the best health for my patients and combat cancer. In 2022/23 the 1st year of my retirement and 30th Anniversary of the Ottawa Senators hockey team, I attended in person over 60 games. I am a season ticket holder for SENS since the start in 1992 and have followed SENS throughout - though not being able to attend many games as I have worked in an underserviced area of Ontario - Leamington. In the 2022/23 season Part One of SENS Tour, I drove to each of the over 60 games over 85,000KM - no planes. I did road trips to Florida at Halloween , Vegas and California in mid Nov , &crossed the continent Chicago to Seattle & Vancouver then Alberta in mid March. I Car Camped for over half the stops even in winter. I personally am paying all SENS Tour expenses. For the 2023/24 SENS Season - Part Two of Dr Bob SENS TOUR I will bring the Games Total to over 100 Games. Again I will be driving to games , including Road Trips to Vegas, Phoenix 8,500km Pre-Christmas , and Vancouver Seattle Alberta 9,600km New Years. Lots of Car Camping; and of course will FLY to see SENS in Sweden in Nov . Part One achieved the goal of over $18, 728 ; for Part Two the goal is to add to this and reach $ 28, 187 ( all are important SENS #'s).
