Cancer statistics

Canadian Cancer Statistics publication
The publication Canadian Cancer Statistics is part of an annual series that began in 1987 and has been developed by members of the Canadian Cancer Statistics Steering Committee. The goal of this annual publication is to provide health professionals, researchers and policy makers with detailed information regarding incidence, mortality, and other measures of cancer burden of the most common types of cancer by age, sex, year and province or territory.

A PowerPoint version of all figures used in the Canadian Cancer Statistics publication is available for use in presentations or publications as long as they are properly acknowledged.

Further detailed information and some additional sections with related tables/figures are only available in web format.

Special topics

Each year, in addition to standard content of this publication, the Canadian Cancer Statistics Steering Committee selects a topic of focus – special topic, for which more detailed analysis, are developed.
