Accommodation

If you are traveling away from your loved ones for outpatient cancer care, consider staying at a Canadian Cancer Society accommodation lodge in the Interior, on the Island, in Vancouver or coming soon in Northern BC.

Accomodation at all of the lodges is provided on a shared basis with a community atmosphere. There are two separate beds in each room, a locked drawer for personal items, an ensuite bathroom, a telephone (for local calls). Wheelchair accessible rooms are available but must be mentioned at the time of booking. The facilities are smoke-free, scent-free and wheelchair accessible.

The daily rate at any lodge includes three meals a day. We provide 24-hour nursing supervision, caring volunteer support and a host of amenities. There are comfortable fireside lounges, activity rooms, libraries and great food—all in close proximity to treatment centres.

If you will be staying at a lodge, you'll need to be mobile and able to manage your personal care. Otherwise, we require that a support person accompany you.

If space permits, patients undergoing other health-related treatments are also welcome.
