Canadian Cancer Society Gala of Hope

The Canadian Cancer Society Interior Region hosted the 6th annual Gala of Hope on Saturday April 10tn, 2010 in Kelowna.

The Gala of Hope is a significant event that promotes cancer awareness in the Interior and raises funds for the Canadian Cancer Society. Donations associated with the Gala of Hope assist the Society in the fight against cancer, helping to fulfill our mission to eradicate cancer and enhance the quality of life of people living with cancer.

Guests of the Gala of Hope enjoyed an elegant evening filled with laughter, superb dining, and dancing at the Delta Grand Okanagan Resort. This outstanding evening featuring Olympic Champion Jon Montgomery and EMI recording artist Shawn Hlookoff, was dedicated to all those who have been affected by cancer, encouraging them to embrace hope in their fight against it. We also gave special recognition to the Canadian Cancer Society's award-winning, accredited recreational program, Camp Goodtimes. 2010 mark the 25th anniversary of Camp Goodtimes and 25 years of bringing life-enhancing support to children and families who bravely fight cancer.
