Lethbridge & area special events

The Canadian Cancer Society hosts a variety of fundraising activities in communities across Alberta and the Northwest Territories. Participating in a fundraising activity is a great way to have fun, build community spirit and raise money to help people in your community who are living with cancer.

Whether you choose to shave your head, play in a golf tournament or walk around a track over night, your participation will help the Canadian Cancer Society make cancer history.

Funds raised from these special events allow the Society to provide the public with important information about cancer and risk reduction, as well as offer supportive care services and fund research on all types of cancer.

Hold your own fundraising event

Reach for a Cure is a way for individuals and groups not already working for the Society to get involved in the fight against cancer.

Whether you are on your own, or part of a larger group, such as a service club, a community group, or a business, you can make a big difference. Simply plan and carry out a fun activity or event, then donate the proceeds of that event to the Canadian Cancer Society.

For more information about organizing an event, please contact Sarah Koch at (403) 317-4656 or visit cancer.ca/reachforacure.
